The Fiduciary Building is located in historic Juneau Town in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was completed in 1892. The building’s exterior walls consist of window assemblies, solid multiple wythe masonry cladding constructed of “Cream City” brick, limestone units, massive Lake Superior sandstone units, and ornamental terra cotta.
During the examination, ZS identified and quantified distressed conditions and subsequently developed Contract Documents.
Engineering services for this project included:
- A thorough condition survey of the building’s exterior facade, including a hands-on examination along all building elevations
- Remedial repair recommendations including specially designed terra cotta repair mixes
- Construction cost estimation to correct existing deficiencies
- Detailed repair bidding documents
- Bidding services in accordance with owner bidding procedures
- Owner representation and construction observation services
