Holton Terrace (constructed in 1967) and Mitchell Court (constructed in 1971) are both high rise apartment buildings owned and operated by the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM).
Exterior facade elements for both buildings required repairs such as targeted brick replacement, re-pointing mortar joints, replacement of corroded embedded steel facade support elements, and replacement of sealant joints.
ZS was retained by HACM to perform the following services:
- Hands-on examinations of 100% of all building facades
- Development of repair options and associated engineer’s estimate of construction cost
- Preparation of bid set construction documents
- Construction observation and administration services
